LONG AND SHORT TERM GRAIN STORAGE

In addition to standard flat-bottomed silos, our company’s assortment also includes hopper silos, mainly used as buffer silos during technological processes such as drying or cleaning.

These silos are designed for storing grain, rape, maize, legumes and other loose materials in wet or dry form.

The hopper discharge allows for quick emptying of the silo. The combination of many individual silos gives a virtually unlimited storage space.
They are made of galvanized corrugated sheet made of S550GD grade steel, which increases strength of the structure. Roofs of hopper silos are made of galvanized steel with MAGNELIS coating or galvanized steel additionally covered with a SOLANO layer. It provides optimal protection and durability in particularly difficult weather conditions. It also offers corrosion protection class III DIN 5.5928.

We offer silos with an external hopper with angle of 45^o and 60^o and also silos with an internal hopper.

Our silos have two ventilation gaps enabling air exchange when loading and unloading. One of them is between roof and cylindrical part, the other between roof and roof cap. The ventilation gaps are protected by a cover that prevents the ingress of snow, birds and rodents. This cover is attached to the roof at a distance of approx. 3 cm from silo cylindrical part.

Roof structures are calculated to withstand the increased snow load.

Shape of the roof supporting beams is designed in the form of gutters so that they can also be used to drain the condensate from the roof beyond the silo.

RIELA POLSKA silo marking method:

The first number (two-digit or one-digit number) indicates the designation of the silo series, which indicates the number of sheets that make up one silo ring. The second number (two-digit number) indicates the number of rings that make up the silo. For example, silo 408 is a 400 series silo with 08 rings, where one ring consists of 4 plates, silo 1223 is a 1200 series silo with 23 rings, where one ring consists of 12 plates.
